At Pomodoro, our story began with a simple passion:
Authentic Italian pizza inspired by multiple trips to Italy and its rich traditions. Wanting to recreate that true taste, the founder began learning at home with help from an experienced chef who had spent over 35 years in Italy. What began as simple curiosity turned into a serious journey of experimenting, practicing, and improving with different tools and techniques. As the passion grew, a major challenge became clear: in Egypt, there were no compact, high-quality pizza ovens available, only large commercial ones designed for hotels and big restaurants.
Instead of importing an oven, I decided to build one locally in Egypt — a compact, powerful oven that could deliver the same performance as large professional models while remaining practical, efficient, and accessible.
The result was the first Pomodoro oven.
Built with double-layer stainless steel, insulated with high-grade ceramic fiber, and finished with a refractory stone base, Pomodoro ovens are designed to reach professional baking temperatures quickly and deliver authentic pizza results in under a minute.
